Is this a race? Or a case of ‘mine is bigger’? Here is the proposal for the Kindgom Tower in Saudi Arabia which, if built, will be the world’s new tallest tower. It would be 828m taller than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Stefan Antoni (and associates) always do an amazing job of their projects. Pure modern luxury. Here are a view images from a project done in Senegal, completed this year. This cliff side property includes an office, guest room, gym, numerous terraces, family/game room – the whole lot.
Aamer Architects designed this home on a hilltop in Singapore – called Ninety7 @ Siglap. Contemporary and stylish, in my opinion.

This resort in the Maldives – Conrad Maldives Rangali Island had the first underwater restaurant, and has now converted it into a private bedroom.
The warm Indian Ocean water look really appealing – I strongly dislike Winter.

This beautiful remodelling of this cement factory into a completely habitable home and workspace, is Ricardo Bofill’s creation. In just two years it was transformed into offices, exhibition space, archives with apartment and gardens.
Oh, how boring parking lots and arcades seem to be! Cement and columns and a whole bunch of dull grey. I don’t consider painting pillars different colours on different floors as exciting, I’m afraid.
I did however find this very exciting post at the cool hunter exploring more adventurous designs.
A new development coming to Kuala Lumpur, designed by architectural studio, Studio Nicoletti Associati.
Inspired by water droplets in nature, this iconic shaped building is divided into offices and a showroom.

A Japanese architectural firm – Jun Mitsui & Associates - designed this sleek looking building, for De Beers. Standing proudly in Ginza, Japan, the design was apparently inspired by a woman’s curves.
Apparently the most sustainable large buildings in Europe, DUO² is in Groningen, Netherlands. Designed by architects, UNStudio in Amsterdam, these will be the new home of the Dutch national tax office.
Their 92m creation has a facade covered in fins to provide shade, then lowering the need for air-conditioning. Features include a public park and 2500 [...]
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel group recently opened the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. Towering 490m above the harbour, with views of the entire city, they occupy floors 102 – 118 of the International Commerce Centre.
GS Architects designs this awesome looking building for an eyewear/jewellery company based in Austria. It’s been nicknamed the Black Panther by the architects.
