Is this a race? Or a case of ‘mine is bigger’? Here is the proposal for the Kindgom Tower in Saudi Arabia which, if built, will be the world’s new tallest tower. It would be 828m taller than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Underwater Bedroom

Absolutely beautiful and completely tropical!

This resort in the Maldives – Conrad Maldives Rangali Island had the first underwater restaurant, and has now converted it into a private bedroom.
The warm Indian Ocean water look really appealing – I strongly dislike Winter.

This beautiful remodelling of this cement factory into a completely habitable home and workspace, is Ricardo Bofill’s creation. In just two years it was transformed into offices, exhibition space, archives with apartment and gardens.

Parking Spaces

Oh, how boring parking lots and arcades seem to be! Cement and columns and a whole bunch of dull grey. I don’t consider painting pillars different colours on different floors as exciting, I’m afraid.

A new development coming to Kuala Lumpur, designed by architectural studio, Studio Nicoletti Associati.

DUO² by UN Studio

Apparently the most sustainable large buildings in Europe, DUO² is in Groningen, Netherlands. Designed by architects, UNStudio in Amsterdam, these will be the new home of the Dutch national tax office.
Their 92m creation has a facade covered in fins to provide shade, then lowering the need for air-conditioning. Features include a public park and 2500 [...]

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel group recently opened the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. Towering 490m above the harbour, with views of the entire city, they occupy floors 102 – 118 of the International Commerce Centre.
