First photo of a human being?

Now, I guess we’ll never know for sure, but this is suspected to be the first photograph of a human being. Yes, it looks like an old street scene, but if you look carefully…

It was taken by the inventor of the daguerreotype, Louis Daguerre, in Paris in 1838. According to Hokumburg.com’s post here, Daguerre exposed metal that was chemically treated for a few minutes.

So, could this eerie looking figure be the first ever to have his picture taken? And even struck a pose!
