Ramy Hanna shares his techniques, etc in creating this image for a project he worked on.
Ramy does most of his modelling in SketchUp, then goes on to use 3DStudio, Photoshop and After Effects.

Pawel goes through terrain, lighting, settings, etc and then finishes off with the post production.

Vyonyx’s Croatian project really impressive! The detail amazing. Have a look at their project insight here on Cornucopia3d.com. This project is also featured in one of the most recent 3D World issues.
The final render was eventually rendered at 12000 x 8160 pixels, which you can imagine, took quite sometime!
I’m sure you’ll recognise the scene? From what I recall there was a still render floating around a while ago produced by Studio Aiko. Now there’s the fly-through, making of and, if you have 3D glasses – watch it in 3D too.

This morning I was on Ramon Zancanaro’s site – now this is the kind of 3D render I love! Beautiful! Really, when can I move into this room?
He was featured as CGarchitect’s Visualisation Pro of the Week a little while back.
