VIEW Conference
Graphic artist in Italy? Heading there? You might want to head to the VIEW Conference in Turin, Italy from 25 – 28 October 2011.
Covering topics that include animation, gaming and VFX it might just be worthwhile. As all of these events have, there will be workshops and talks by big names in the general industry.
Opening the conference is Pixar’s Director of Photography and Lighting, Sharon Calahan – she’s been with Pixar since 1994 and will be discussing Colour and Light (definitely a Pixar strong point). Sharon herself has worked on Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille and Cars 2, as Director of Photography.
Scott Farrar (ILM Visual Effects Supervisor on Transformers 1 & 2) will also be there.
